Summer Railways

Following a rigorous independent assessment the Tyrolean Zugspitze Railway has been awarded the quality certificate of the Austrian Summer Railways 2005 - 2007 for its efforts to establish and further develope the Alpine mountain summer.
This seal of approval guarantees high quality facilities on the mountain. To receive the certification all services must fulfill a comprehensive set of criteria, which includes Family Mountain, Fit & Active Mountain, Scenic View Mountain, Mountain Enjoyment and Action Mountains. The distinguished Austrian Summer Railways offer exciting and attractive summer experiences on the mountain. The marketing and PR Divisions of the Professional Association of Austrian Cable Railways are under the auspices of the distinguished Austrian Summer Railways. The quality seal of approval can only be accorded through the Austrian Association of Cable Railways and is subject to continual quality control.
